In the waning days of The Great Scotts’ musical reign over the Four State Area, drummer Scott and guitars Lawrs were in search of an outlet for their fertile & indimininsed creativity. Lo and behold they found it in each other! And the two set out to record for the first time as a duo.
The journey of Scott & Lawrs would be one of great risk, uncertainty, and near peril. After an emotional experience witnessing the Atlas V launch while on a roadtrip in south Florida, they returned to Fayetteville forever altered, and the recording sessions took on the shape & dimension of a fantastical interplanetary quest.
Fearlessly forging their way through the smoke-filled fire swamps of Garga...waging war against an army of Kardash (large rodents that mutate into Gremlins)...guzzling heroic amounts of beer, day after day, as if not only their lives but all life in our galaxy depended on it.
Through the force of their will and shared artistic vision, Scott & Lawrs vanquished the evil that is doing nothing. They emerged from the studio as different men - hairier, to be sure, but also wiser. And most importantly, with new songs to share.
Presented here for the first time is the fruit of their far-out quest.
